Prof Dr. Joseph Edward is a highly distinguished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, renowned for his exceptional skills and vast expertise in the field. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for advancing maxillofacial and dental care, Dr. Edward has become a prominent figure in the healthcare community. His illustrious career spans over two decades, during which he has served as a Maxillofacial Consultant, earned a National Award for innovative surgical techniques, and held leadership roles in esteemed maxillofacial and dental organizations. He was the past Secretary and President of the AOMSI Kerala state chapter and is currently the editor of Kerala Dental Journal.
Dr. Edward's impact extends beyond clinical practice into academics, with 23 years of teaching experience in UG & Pg College, with active contributions to research and publications. His authored papers, presented at both national and state levels, exemplify his commitment to advancing the global understanding of dentistry and Maxillofacial surgery. He is also an international consultant to Saudi Arabia and UAE with a maxillofacial and implantology license.

23 years of teaching experience, holding positions as Professor and Head of the Department in prestigious undergraduate and postgraduate institutes, and currently the Professor and HOD at Azeezia College Of Dental Science.
Recipient of a National Award for pioneering an Indigenous and Self-designed technique for upper third molar extractions in Maxillofacial Surgery.
Past President and Secretary of AOMSI Kerala State Chapter.
